I love watching cloud formations. This one was a very unusual one, because as the sun was starting to set, it went directly behind the cloud formation creating what I call the "halo" effect. The sun being behind the cloud, caused a rather fine line defining the cloud that was in front of it. It also gave the cloud a bit of an abstract look.
I was really glad I was in the right place and at the right time to get this unusual cloud formation shot. The sun had to be in the right place and at the right angle to create the amazing lining around the cloud.
I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I did photographing it.
