Some may think this shot was taken out in a wilderness area, not so. It was captured at the Wildlife Safari in Winston Oregon.
It's a drive through safari only, so one better have a long lens for a shot like this one. I happened to have my 500mm Nikkor on my D500 crop censor camera so I was actually shooting him with a 700mm lens including the crop factor of the censor. :-)
This old brute was actually enjoying the people driving by and he was posing nicely for this shot. Some say it looks as though he has a bit of a pouty face. I think they might be right. :-)
