Description
I usually carry my camera with me wherever I go...and on this evening I was very glad I had it.
This image was captured near my home of Lebanon Oregon. The little mountain you see off in the distance is called Peterson's Butte. As the sun was starting to set on the day this beautiful rainbow showed itself and I thought it was a nice composition to get it with Peterson's Butte as it's companion.

This is so beautiful Nick. I just love rainbows! You can actually see where this one ends. First time I've ever seen that. Wonder what it looks like if you're on that spot. l/f

Fabulous...good that you had your camera, indeed! I like the building in the background. It helps to show the grand scale of the scene. f/v
Nick Boren replied:
Thanks so much Anna... I appreciate your comments. I do like to include structures or people in my landscapes any chance I get to show scale for the viewers. :-)
