Magnificent capture! I can just imagine when this was a busy little town. Great work. Where is Bodie, Calif.? We travel to Sacramento every year and would love to make a side trip. I love capturing old buildings!

Oh, I just went to Bodie, so I will have some pics of it soon! :) Nick, Mammoth Lakes (which includes Lake Mary and Twin Lakes), where I just was and took all the pictures, is not too far from Bodie at all! It's really close to Mono Lake! Anyway...lol...really wonderful image here, my friend!! I love the tones and the light on the hills!!! :)))vf

Wasn't it incredible looking in some of the buildings and seeing the original wallpaper, glasses on the table and plates just as they were left! Epitome of a sacred ghost town and I haven't seen it captured so beautifully! xx L/F :)

When i look at this, I try to imagine what it was like to be in a town like this 120 years ago. Wide open spaces, alone except for the few souls in the town. Your photograph brings us a sense of that feeling. Very well done, Nick. vf
